AP Class 10 Board Exams 2026 Begin Across Andhra Pradesh; Over 6 Lakh Students Appear

The Class 10 board examinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh have commenced, with more than six lakh students appearing for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations this year. The exams are being conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) across thousands of examination centres throughout the state.

According to official estimates, over 6.2 lakh students from government, aided, and private schools have registered for the examination. The board has made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, including deployment of invigilators, flying squads, and strict surveillance at exam centres.

To maintain transparency and fairness, authorities have introduced measures such as CCTV monitoring, strict entry rules, and special squads to prevent malpractice. Students have also been advised to reach their centres well in advance and carry their hall tickets and necessary stationery.

The SSC examination remains a crucial academic milestone, as it plays a key role in determining students’ transition to higher secondary education streams such as science, commerce, and humanities.

Education officials have expressed confidence that the examinations will proceed smoothly, with evaluation and result preparation expected to follow soon after the completion of the exam schedule.
