The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), headquartered in Dharamshala, made a significant announcement on Tuesday, April 30, unveiling the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The long-awaited moment arrived at 11:30 am, marking the culmination of students’ academic journey in these crucial stages.
To access their scorecards, students can conveniently download them from the official websites at ubse.uk.gov.in or uaresults.nic.in. However, it’s imperative to have certain essential credentials at hand, including the roll number, application number, and registration number, to facilitate the download process seamlessly.
One standout achiever in the Class 10 category was Priyanshu Rawat from Gangolihat, who clinched the top spot with a perfect 100 percentile score, setting a remarkable precedent for his peers. The overall pass percentage for the UBSE Class 10 examination stood commendably at 89.14%. This year’s examination window spanned from February 27 to March 16, conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper format across 1228 exam centers, accommodating approximately 90 thousand students.
Transitioning to the Class 12 results, the overall pass percentage for this cohort was documented at 82.63%. Notable individuals like Piyush Kholiya, from Vivekanand IC, and Kanchan Joshi emerged as top scorers, boasting an impressive 97.6% mark. Additionally, a noteworthy observation was the distinction in pass percentages between male and female candidates, with boys achieving a pass rate of 78.97% and girls surpassing them at 85.96%.
