Byju’s has reduced course fees by 30-40% and increased sales incentives by 50-100%.

According to reports, Think and Learn, the parent company of Byju’s, has implemented significant changes in its pricing and sales strategy. The course subscription fees have been reduced by 30-40%, while sales incentives have been increased by 50-100%.
Byju Raveendran, the Founder and CEO of Byju’s, who has taken over the company’s day-to-day operations, announced these changes during a meeting with 1,500 sales associates and managers. The new sales strategy aims at scalability and flexibility.
As per insider information, the annual subscription for the Byju’s Learning App now costs ₹12,000, while Byju’s classes and Byju’s Tuition Centres (BTC) are priced at ₹24,000 and ₹36,000, respectively, for a full year of classes. This reflects a reduction in rates by almost 30-40%.
Raveendran has assured the sales team of settling all pending dues with higher incentives. He emphasized that sales associates could potentially earn multiples of their current salary by closing a few deals.
Under the new incentive structure, sales associates will receive 100% of their incentives for closed sales directly into their accounts the next working day, while managers will receive 20% from the company.
Byju’s has transitioned from a push-based to a pull-based sales model, emphasizing a love for learning over the fear of missing out. Managers are now instructed to act as coaches, supporting and enabling the sales team rather than imposing strict call quotas.
Employees are given flexibility in working on their own terms, with no tracking of call hours. They are encouraged to report any instances of mistreatment, forced sales, or rude behavior by managers directly to Raveendran.
