With 68,802 students clearing the second examination, Karnataka’s overall SSLC pass percentage for 2026 has climbed to 93.13%, marking a substantial improvement over previous years.

Record Improvement
The SSLC Exam-2 was conducted from May 18 to May 25, 2026, at 358 examination centres across Karnataka. The supplementary examination gave students an opportunity to improve scores or clear subjects they had not passed in Exam-1. The initiative helped thousands of students remain eligible for higher secondary education.
Top Performers
Five additional students achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 marks in Exam-2, highlighting exceptional academic performance.
Gender and District Performance
Girls continued to outperform boys in the consolidated results, while Udupi district emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage exceeding 99%. Rural students also recorded slightly better results than their urban counterparts.
